Product FAQ
Soap Reference
Our standard soaps use a blend of many oils (olive, sweet almond, and coconut), an alkali solution (lye and water), and essential oils. We do not use fragrance oils in our soaps.
This is a normal process that may occur during cold-process soap making while curing or in storage. It is safe to use as is and will be removed after the first use of soap with water.
Select products may contain animal products like beef tallow and will be labeled as such. All other soaps are completely free of animal products.
Superfatting a soap means that the ratio of lye to oils used has been reduced and are not converted during the saponification process. These extra oils are then available for your skin to make use of, in addition to the glycerine for their moisturizing properties.
Most Wow What soaps have a superfat content of 4-6%. YAY!
Goo Reference
Our Goo is a soothing balm of various oils and fragrant essential oils.
Generally storing Ooh Goo at room temperature will work perfectly. It can also be stored in a refrigerated location to further its shelf-life. Avoid storing the jar on its side or upside down. Temperatures above 85-90 may cause it to liquefy. You can remedy this by lowering the temperature of the storage location.
Nothing is wrong! Depending on temperature and other environmental factors, parts of the oils may separate.
Cooling the product will cause it to re-solidify. Ensure the lid is on tight to prevent leaking if hot temperatures are expected.
The easiest way is to use your fingers to apply a small amount to the desired area. It may have solidified depending on the temperature; rubbing some between the fingers will melt it for application.
Do not allow Goo to get into your eyes, mouth, or other sensitive areas. If any irritation occurs, immediately stop use.
No. Wow What Goo currently uses beef tallow as a major part of it’s ingredients. Future formulas may offer a vegan version.
